 The Math Game Version 2.1

The next release of the two-digit subtraction game is available.  Please consider this early code. The Math Game Version 2.1 does yet look as nice as Version 1.1 but hopefully that will change soon. 

You can still use Version 1.1, it is available here.

The Math Game Version 2.1 adds:

• The game launch interface has been improved.  It has also been enhanced to accomodate initials and email address - both optional. 
• Automatic score tracking.  The email address and initials you enter can be used to track game progress. While results are being recording in this release, the report tool and emailer are not completed yet.  Stay tuned.
• It is now much more intuitive to install and run the Math Game locally.
• Smoother graphics.  The Math Game now uses the Silverlight animation subsystem.  It can also take advantage of a GPU if it is available.   Looking ahead this will make it much easier to support the game on Windows Phone.
• Better resizing support.  Game difficulty is no longer dependent on the size of the display.

The Outdoor Summer Party Postponed

June 19, 2010. 

We have a cold and rainy day here in Redmond and the forecast is cloudy with 70% chance of showers this evening.

So we're going to postpone the outdoor activities, music, and sunshine until next month. Keep an eye out for an updated invite with the new date.

And don't let that rain scare you away... please come join us for Mexican food and margaritas in the comfort of our warm dry home. Looking forward to summer and seeing all of you soon.

A math game that lets you practice two-digit subtraction is now available.  It has a little bit of a Space Invaders feel.
